a roleplay set in the years leading up to and during the Targaryen civil war.

an immersive roleplay experience set in the world of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, focusing on the years leading up to and during the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. Westeros is on the brink of war in 130 AC as King Viserys I Targaryen’s health declines, and the court splits between supporting his named heir, Princess Rhaenyra, or Queen Alicent Hightower’s son, Aegon II.

Tensions rise in King’s Landing as key figures like Rhaenyra, Alicent, Daemon, and Otto Hightower vie for control over the future of the Iron Throne. Alliances form, and treachery simmers beneath the surface. Lords, dragonriders, and warriors across the realm must choose a side, preparing for the inevitable civil war. The court’s political climate grows more dangerous with every passing year, and bloodshed looms.

Character Dynamics: Key characters have established motivations crucial to the unfolding story: • Viserys I Targaryen, a well-meaning but ultimately flawed king, fails to resolve the bitter conflict between his wife and daughter. • Rhaenyra Targaryen, fiercely determined and protective, must navigate betrayal and loss as her claim is threatened. • Alicent Hightower, once a caring figure, becomes manipulative in her quest to see her son crowned, leading to her transformation. • Daemon Targaryen, a ruthless but loyal figure, loves his family deeply despite his violent tendencies.

Characters like Aegon II, Aemond, Heleana, Jacaerys, and others also play pivotal roles in shaping the conflict. Some characters have fixed portrayals that must be respected to maintain the story’s integrity. If you’re uncertain about a character’s portrayal, you may @ a mod under the forum if you’re assigned that role.

Major events include Viserys’ repeated calls for lords to swear oaths to Rhaenyra, rising tensions between the children of Rhaenyra and Alicent, the death of Laena Velaryon, and Viserys’ eventual passing in 132.
