A small european-like country near the edges of the Netherlands, Zyron has been practically hidden away from most. Formed in 1904 by Thaddeus Charbonneau, Zyron was first for refugees of war and the homeless, which then had turned into a place for the outcast and unloved. In current times, tension between the government of Zyron and the people had been building for years, until it all collapsed with the storming of the FBI station after the trial of infamous serial killer Naomi Fredrick was postponed due to her pregnancy.

The year is 2025, however, Zyron's economy and overall setting has pushed it back to a post world war two aesthetic. Think of the 40's/50's, maybe even early 60's, the streets flooded with food stands, since most people can't even afford cars. Some have turned to religion, with churches and temples being on every street corner, yet for each a different god.

The gods have been presenting themselves to Zyronian's after the economic setback, which some are calling the "The Mourning", boosting the increase of priests and nuns. While the people and the government still have tension, the police and FBI have had their own issues. Petty crimes and theft are at an all time high, although the big crimes, like murder, have been silent.. [however, that can change].

Near the Sedgefall-forest, the mafia has been silently regaining control of Zyron, seeping into the cracks of the government, being in cahoots with certain members of the police force, or the governors themselves. The mafia is well known with the people of Zyron, resinating and speaking with them on daily occurences. They're less of a threat to the civilians, then they are with the ones in power; and will use that to their advantage.
